On behalf of QEF’s Board of Directors, and all Qatari riders, welcome to our new website.

Qatar has a rich and lengthy equestrian history. Horses have been an essential part of the country’s landscape for centuries and embody the passion and majesty of the Qatari heritage. Qatar’s equestrian community has been blessed by great consideration and support from Government at the highest levels. This support has enabled QEF to celebrate the achievements of Qatar’s equestrian forefathers, while also keeping pace with the evolution of the sport.

At present Qatar’s National Team, and in turn QEF, is widely considered an emerging force on the global equestrian playing field. Today our country has been firmly established as a premier venue for competitions that attract the world’s top
equestrians, and Qatari riders regularly make their mark at top international competitions held around the world.
Horses are an inseparable part of Qatar’s heritage, and since 1979 QEF has been committed to both embracing our heritage and looking toward the future. At QEF we’re focused on growing and promoting equestrian sport at the national, regional and international levels. We are proud to provide a platform that allows riders to both develop and showcase their talent, and we are proud of the successes that have risen from our strong emphasis on team development and rider education.
